Who we are

Mercúrio Compósitos designs and laminates carbon fiber components in Portugal. This site, mercurio.pt, presents Entropia and collects sign-ups for the launch list. For any question about personal data, write to info@mercurio.pt.

What we collect

Email address
Only if you type it into the pre-launch form. We send one confirmation message straight away and keep the address to notify you before orders open to the public. We do not sell it, do not share it, and do not use it for anything else.
Where your visit came from
If you arrived through a link with campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), we record those three values with the sign-up — they tell us which ad or post brought you, not who you are.
Which form you used
We record which of the two sign-up forms on the page you submitted, whether your browser reports itself as a phone, tablet or computer, and the website that linked you here — its address only, never the full link. They tell us which parts of the page work and which do not. We do not record your screen size, window size or browser identity string alongside your address: together those would describe your particular device rather than a kind of device, and we have no use for that.
Sign-up context
With each sign-up we also record the approximate location derived from the IP address at the time of the request — country, region and city — plus the timezone and browser language. They tell us where the interest in Entropia comes from; the IP address itself is not stored with the list.
Browsing data
Pages viewed, approximate country, device type and loading performance, collected in aggregate. We do not use this data to identify you.

Tools we use

Meta Pixel and Conversions API
They measure how many people reach the site from our Instagram ads and how many join the list. When you sign up, your email is sent to Meta only as an irreversible code (SHA-256), never in readable text. See Meta's data policy.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
They count visits and measure the site's speed without tracking cookies and without building individual profiles.
Resend
Delivers the confirmation email we send the moment you join the list, and records whether it arrived. It receives your address and nothing else. See Resend's privacy policy.
Hosting and storage
The site is served by Vercel. List sign-ups are stored in Google Workspace. Both may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Union's standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis and retention

We process your email based on your consent, given when you submit the form, and delete it after launch or when you ask us to — whichever comes first. Audience measurement rests on our legitimate interest in understanding whether our communication reaches the people it should; you can object at any time, and your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is honored automatically.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to info@mercurio.pt. Every email we send also carries an unsubscribe link in its footer, which removes you from the launch list on the spot. We reply within 30 days. If you believe we have not handled the matter as we should, you can lodge a complaint with the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority.

How to block measurement

Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use a content blocker. The site works exactly the same way: nothing you read or do here depends on accepting measurement.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Substantial changes to how we use your email will be announced by email to everyone on the list.
